Fibonacci Numismatics Inc. ("F.N.I.") operates as a private numismatic and precious metals consultancy based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. By accessing our services, gallery, or appraisals, you agree to the following terms of engagement.
2. Identification & Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
In accordance with Nova Scotia provincial regulations and federal guidelines, all clients engaged in the sale of precious metals or numismatic assets to F.N.I. must provide valid government-issued photo identification. This data is held in strict confidence and is used solely for regulatory compliance and the prevention of illicit trade.

The market for rare coins and precious metals is inherently volatile. Bullion-based assets are valued using real-time market "spot" prices at the exact moment of transaction finalization. F.N.I. reserves the right to adjust or rescind quotes if market prices shift significantly before settlement.
4. Authenticity & Professional Grading
F.N.I. adheres to the strict grading standards set forth by PCGS, NGC, and ICCS. Any item represented as genuine is guaranteed as such by F.N.I. We reserve the right to require professional third-party grading or metallurgical assay testing at the seller's expense for non-certified assets.
5. Settlement & Payment Terms
For the safety of our staff and clients, physical cash is not maintained on-site. All settlements are processed via:
- Corporate Cheque
- Secure Bank Wire Transfer
- Business E-Transfer (within daily bank limits)
Payment is issued only after physical verification and testing of the assets are complete.
6. Secure Consultations
All appraisals and acquisitions are conducted at our secure facility in Halifax by appointment only. F.N.I. reserves the right to refuse service to any individual for security or compliance reasons. We also travel to service clients worldwide.

- Digital Records: All sessions are conducted in a secure environment equipped with high-resolution overhead recording. This ensures a transparent record of the assets' condition and the verification process.
- Verification Logs: We maintain a detailed ledger for every transaction, including purity test results, weight to the 0.01g, and high-macro photography of unique identifying marks on numismatic assets.
- Finality of Agreement: Upon the completion of a transaction, a signed "Settlement Acknowledgment" is issued. This document confirms that both parties have agreed upon the grade, authenticity, and market-based valuation as final.
- Right of Refusal: To maintain the safety of our private gallery, we reserve the right to terminate any consultation or refuse any asset that does not meet our strict provenance and security standards.
